Pacific Built undertook the construction of a brand new nine-room accommodation & conference facilities for the Health Lodge, designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing integrative medical practice.

The vision for this project focused entirely on the concept of wellness, creating a space where clients of the Health Lodge can extend their health care journey with an inpatient stay. Each accommodation room was thoughtfully planned to provide comfort and functionality while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Extensive air and water purification systems

Custom, onsite dressed hardwood timber for bedheads and joinery in each room, avoiding the use of particleboard or melamine.
Accessibility
The complexity of this project, being rated as a Class 3 accommodation building with BAL 29 bushfire rating, required stringent compliance with accessibility and safety legislations. This included detailed assessment of the proposed building, ensuring that all entrances and exits met the necessary standards. The design incorporated features such as ramps, wide doorways, and appropriately designed bathrooms.
Bushfire and fire spread prevention measures were paramount, requiring installation of smoke alarms and alert system, fire rated doors, emergency exits, and clear signage to guide occupants in the event of an emergency.
